Appeal for missing Rhyl boy
27/12/2012
Police are keen to find a 16-year-old boy who went missing from
his Rhyl foster home on Saturday 22nd December.
Waheed Ullah Amjri was last seen at Rhyl
Railway Station at 1.05pm on Saturday 22/12/12 and is believed to
have boarded the train to Manchester. He was due to arrive in
Manchester at 2.57pm that day, but has not been seen since and he
has made no contact with his foster carers.
It is possible that he may have boarded the
London train at Chester.
Waheed, who is of Afghan origin, is described
as being of slim build with short curly hair and facial stubble.
He was last seen wearing a grey coat, a black jumper, blue
jeans and brown trainers.
Waheed is under the impression that he is due
to be deported, but he is unaware that he has been given permission
to stay in the United Kingdom until 2014.
Anyone with information relating to Waheed’s
whereabouts is asked to contact North Wales Police on 101.
