Assault and attempted robbery Penrhyn Bay

Police are appealing for witnesses following
an assault and attempted robbery on Friday evening in Penrhyn
Bay.
A man walking his dog on the footpath leading
from Plas Penrhyn towards Llanrwst Road (to the rear of Ysgol
Creuddyn) at around 11pm on Friday April 13th was
approached by two males who proceeded to ask for his wallet and
assault him.
The man suffered from superficial wounds but
nothing was taken.
The males who approached the man are
both described as being white and aged 25-35. The first man
is described as being of slim build and 5,8 – 5,10 in height with a
shaved head and a scar on the left hand side of his face. The
second man is described as being of medium build and 5,8 – 5,9 in
height.
DC Glen Miller said:
“We are now appealing for information from
anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the
incident.
“Anyone who noticed anything suspicious or saw
the two men answering the above descriptions should please get in
touch with us as soon as possible by contacting 101 or
