19/02/2013
Police are asking people to cast their minds
back to last month when a man was assaulted in Colwyn Bay.
A 26-year-old man sustained injuries to his
head and face when he was assaulted by two men outside the Bay
Grill in Colwyn Bay.
The incident, which was believed to be
unprovoked, happened at 11.25pm on Friday 18th January,
and police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault or
who may have information relating to the incident.
One man was arrested in connection with the
incident and remains on police bail pending further enquiries but
the other man is still outstanding.
PC 2550 Claire Owen said: “We would like to
speak to a man who was at the scene at the time of the incident. He
was wearing a red or orange coloured T-shirt.
“People may remember him as the weather was
cold, it had been snowing, and he was in a short sleeved
T-shirt.”
PC Owen said: “We are reviewing CCTV of the
incident and ask that anyone with relevant information contacts
myself at Colwyn Bay Police Station on 101 or alternatively call
Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
