Car vandalised in Morfa Nefyn
16/01/2013
North Wales Police are looking for the
public’s help identify those responsible for vandalising a car in
Morfa Nefyn recently.
Investigating Officer PC Goronwy Williams of
the Nefyn and District neighbourhood Policing Team is appalled at
the extend of the damage and is determined to find those
responsible. He said “Sometime between 5pm on Sunday
30th December and 10.30am the following morning,
Monday 31st December offenders have vandalised a
silver Vauxhall Zafira that was parked on the Maes Hyfryd estate in
Morfa Nefyn.
“Every tyre on the car was slashed, the front
and rear windscreen wipers damaged as well as extensive deep
scratching all over the body work. Those responsible clearly
spent some time causing this damage which will doubtless cost a
great deal to repair. As this took place on the morning of
New Years Eve I’m hoping it may jog someone’s memory to any
suspicious behaviour or activity on the estate and I’d ask that if
you know something please contact Police”
“If anyone was in the area at the time and saw
any suspicious activity, or knows who may be responsible for this
offence I’d ask they contact Police and quote incident reference
RC12214280”
North Wales Police can be contacted on 101 or anonymously via
