Police in Llandudno seek suspicious male
09/07/2012
Police are appealing for information after a
report that a seven year old girl was chased by a man while she was
riding her bike to school in Llandudno.
Inspector Ian Verburg said that the incident
happened at about 8.30am on Friday 6th July when the
girl was cycling on the pavement from the Hospital Estate to Ysgol
John Brights in Maesdu Road.
He said: “As the girl reached the roundabout
she noticed a man waving at her and shouting and then he ran along
the length of the road along by the rugby pitch.
“The man was white and in his 50’s and of
scruffy appearance with a grey beard. He was wearing an orange hat,
possibly fisherman’s style and a black coat which was waist
length.
“We are now anxious to speak to this person
and find out why he was in the area and what he was doing.
“We are also calling on other members of the
public who noticed anything to get in touch.
