Police are appealing for information following the suspicious death of a woman in Wrexham.

 

Police were called   to a house in Bryn Hafod at 10.02am today where

the body of Glynis Eileen Solmaz, 65, was found.

 

The house is situated on the Queensway, opposite the junction for the Queensway industrial estate in Caia Park.

 

Ms Solmaz, lived alone and had two Rottweiler dogs which she is said to have exercised regularly in the area. 

 

It is understood she often visited local convenience stores and frequented public houses in Wrexham.

 

The cause of death is unknown and the Home Office pathologist is due to carry out a post mortem today.

 

DI Iestyn Davies said; “We are currently treating the death as suspicious, but the cause has yet to be determined.

 

“We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen Ms Solmaz anytime since the weekend, up to this morning.

 

“Anyone with information is asked to call Wrexham CID at North Wales Police on 101 quoting incident number P026849.”
