Family Tribute to the late Philip James
Pilbeam
The 32 year old man who died in a road traffic
collision near Llanfaethlu, Anglesey, in the early hours of 2 March
has been named as Philip James Pilbeam.
Phil was the eldest son of Steve and Gail
Pilbeam. He leaves girlfriend Catherine and 10 week old son Adam,
and sister Stephanie and brother Wil.
His family, who are in total shock at their
home address in Llanfaethlu, wished to say the following about
their loss:
“We are still shocked and in total
disbelief.
“Phil was a kind, quiet, sociable young man
who was looking forward to setting up home with his girlfriend
Catherine and their beautiful baby, Adam, who was born just before
Christmas.
“He will be greatly missed by family and
friends.”
Phil, born and bred in Llanfaethlu, attended
Ysgol Ffrwd Win and then Ysgol Uwchradd Bodedern. He worked as a
Kitchen Assistant at Morrisons Holyhead.
As an avid Liverpool FC supporter he attended
matches at Anfield as often as he could. In the past, he played for
Cemaes Bay FC and had been to a match on the evening before he
died.
Phil used to be a member of Eryri Harriers and
was Welsh Junior International fell-runner. He was also a past
member of Cybi Striders.
His father Steve prior to retiring was a
Police Officer with North Wales Police.
