Corporate Communications Department

North Wales Police’s Corporate Communications Department is responsible for the Force’s external and internal communications.

 

At Force Headquarters in Colwyn Bay, the team of Corporate Communications officers handles media relations for North Wales Police – such as appeals for information, details of incidents, operations and campaigns.

 

The office is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

You can also call the voicebank, the Force's recorded media line, on 0871 550 0063. This is regularly updated with details of incidents of note, statements, appeals and news releases.

 

Out of hours

For all non-urgent queries out-of-hours, messages can be left on the office answering machine on 01492 804666.

For emergency media calls only

Please call 101 or 0845 607 1002 and your call will be directed to the Force Incident Manager. The Force Incident Manager will handle initial media enquiries with support from the on call press officer when required.

 

A duty press officer is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

 

The Voicebank is updated about any incidents of note. Reporters are advised to check Voicebank (above) for information before calling the Force Incident Manager.
