Burglaries in south Flintshire
Police are urging people in south Flintshire
to ensure their outbuildings are secure.
The advice comes following a spate of
burglaries from sheds, garages and out buildings from the
Abermorddu, Hope, Cefn y Bedd, Ffrith, Llanfynydd, Cymau and
Caergwrle areas.
Insp Andy Griffiths stated: “We have had 25
burglaries in the south Flintshire area since October, where pedal
cycles, power tools, toys and Christmas presents have been stolen
from insecure buildings.”
“We are advising people to make sure their sheds and garages are
secure and we urge people to be extra vigilant – if they see anyone
acting suspiciously they should contact police immediately on
101.”
