Murder update

North Wales Police have confirmed that the 57
year old Warrington man being questioned in connection with the
death of a woman, also from the town, was married to the
victim.
The man was arrested on suspicion of murder
and remains in custody at St Asaph after attending a police building on the St
Asaph business park on Wednesday evening 18 July 2012.
The body of a
49 year old woman was discovered in the boot of a car outside the
building.
A post mortem carried out by a Home Office pathologist in Liverpool
yesterday revealed that the victim sustained multiple injuries.
The family has been informed and is being
supported by specially trained officers of Cheshire Police.
A joint investigation is being carried out by
North Wales Police and Cheshire Police. Four locations in the
Warrington area have been searched and examined as part of the
investigation.
