Police investigate suspicious death in Bala - update

At approximately 5.40pm on Saturday
10th November 2012 North Wales Police were called to a
flat in Plassey Street, Bala, Gwynedd where they discovered the
body of the resident, a 42 year old East European man. A man
in his 20’s, also East European was arrested later that evening in
a near by address on suspicion of murder.
The deceased has been formally identified but
until his family have been informed his details are not being
released. HM Coroner for North West Wales has been
informed.
During the early hours of this morning, Monday
12th November 2012, four further people, three who are
local to Bala and one further East European, were arrested in
connection with assisting an offender and are currently being
interviewed at a local Police Station.
The man arrested on suspicion of murder
appeared before Prestatyn magistrates this morning where a warrant
of further detention will allow Police further time questioning
him.
Police are asking anyone in the vicinity of
Plassey Street, Bala on Saturday 10th November, or
anyone who may have any information regarding this incident to
