Police warning people to be extra vigilant

Police are urging motorists to be more vigilant when leaving
their cars parked in local tourist attractions.
Conwy & Denbighshire District Rural Inspector, Gary Kelly
said this week that they were determined to clampdown on the number
of thefts from vehicles in his area.
“Since April we have had five reports of thefts from cars parked
in the car park at Bodnant Gardens and six incidents at Loggerheads
Country Park.
“Although we are actively patrolling these places we are asking
motorists to take care and be more aware.
“People need to make sure that valuables, such as Satellite
Navigators or handbags are taken out of their cars or removed from
view and anyone noticing anything suspicious or people hanging
around cars should report it to us immediately on 101.”
