Public asked for their priorities
18/06/2012
People in rural Denbighshire are being asked what they would
like to see as a policing priority in their areas.
Five thousand questionnaires are being delivered to homes in
Denbigh, Ruthin, Corwen, Llangollen and Llanwrst over the next
couple of weeks in a bid to find out what the public wants.
District Inspector, Gary Kelly said the leaflets would be hand
delivered by PCSO’s when they were on foot patrol.
“The purpose of the questionnaire is to give local people a
unique opportunity to direct police resources where they are most
needed and help reduce crime even further.
“We are asking members of the public to complete the form in
confidence and return it in the freepost envelope provided.
“Alternatively residents can visit the North Wales Police
website and click on Balance your Bobbies and tell us what they
think the priorities should be.”
Inspector Gary Kelly said all replies would be collated and then
acted upon.
