Police are reminding residents to lock doors and windows and to
make sure their home is secure even when occupied.
Sgt Arwel Ellis said;" Open windows and unlocked back doors are
an invitation to burglars even when residents are at home watching
television, in their garden or asleep in bed.
“Our advice is always to fit and use good locks for the
home, garden shed and garages and to lock away bikes and
outdoor items. Before going to bed check that all windows and
doors are closed and locked. Residents can also fit a
security stay or a window restrictor which allows ventilation
with security.
“We would always encourage people to report suspicious
activity to North Wales Police on 101.”
