Stolen pesticides warning

Police are warning people to be on their guard after a large
quantity of pesticide was stolen from a Flintshire farm.
Overnight, between Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th
August 2012, 120 bottles of liquid agricultural pesticides were
stolen from a farm building in the Mold Area of Flintshire.
The pesticides were contained in brown or
white bottles ranging from one to 20 liters in size. The specific
bottles are identifiable to the police and each one is labeled with
the name of the pesticide and appropriate health warning.
The names of products taken are:
1. Thrust (NUFARM)
2. Headland Staff
3. Headland Spruce
4. Headland Di Farmon
5. Mission / Googly
6. Broadshot
7. Doxstar 3 (DOW)
8. Hurler (Barclay)
9. Clinic Ace (NUFARM)
10. GALLUP Amenity Biograde
11. Kurtail
12. Grazon 90 (DOW)
13. Polo (Headland)
14. Mircam Plus
15. Pastor (DOW)
16. ROUNDUP PRO BIACTIVE
17. THISTLEX (DOW)
18. TRIATHOLON (GREENCROP)
Detective Sergeant Kevin Bowden of Mold CID
said; “The products taken are widely available through agricultural
supplies merchants, but we are keen to hear from any member of the
public who is offered these goods for sale, or has any knowledge of
their whereabouts.
“Though clearly marked, some of the pesticides
can be corrosive if incorrectly handled and could form a pollution
risk if discarded inappropriately'.
