Suspicious death man arrested

North Wales Police can confirm that a 57
year man from the Cheshire area has been arrested on suspicion of
murder and remains in custody at St Asaph.
The joint investigation is being carried out
by North Wales Police and Cheshire Police following the attendance of a man at a police
station in St Asaph, North Wales on the evening of Wednesday 18
July 2012.
DCI Steve Williams of North Wales Police said;
“The victim, a woman, has been identified and the suspect and
victim were known to each other. The family has been informed and
is being supported by specially trained officers of Cheshire
Police.
“A Home Office pathologist will be carrying
out a post mortem to establish the cause of death.”
