Thefts from Wrexham sheds

Police are appealing for residents to secure
their property after number of sheds and garages were broken into
in the Wrexham area recently.
Between the Tuesday 19 and Thursday 21 June a
number of sheds and garages were broken into in Lancaster Terrace
Acrefiar , Southsea Road, Southsea and Fron Road, Coedpoeth,
stealing power tools, mountain bikes and camping equipment .The
mountain bike is a black and white JT Aggressor with a distinctive
chain guard and a home made splash guard on the back made of inner
tube.
Community safety Sergeant Arwel Ellis said;
“We are working hard to prevent and detect crime and are asking
that residents help by taking steps that will make it difficult for
offenders to gain access to their sheds and outbuildings.
“Please ensure that your shed is locked using
a heavy duty padlock and that your shed is in good condition with
any damaged area replaced or repaired.
