Three arrested following assault in Buckley

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of wounding
following an incident in Buckley which left two men needing
hospital treatment.
A man in his 20's sustained serious
facial injuries and a second man, who is also in his 20's,
sustained minor injuries following an assault which is believed to
have happened during the early house of Saturday morning, February
16, in the Brunswick Road area. Both men were taken to
Wrexham Maelor Hospital for treatment.
Police were alerted to the incident by the
Ambulance service, officers attended and a short time later
arrested three men, aged 25, 22 and 21 years old.
Inquiries into the incident and house to house
inquiries are continuing.
The Brunswick Road area was cordoned off for a
time while police undertook inquiries.
The three men arrested have all been released
on police bail pending further inquiries.
"The incident happened at a time when many
people would have been making their way home from a night out and
therefore it is possible that some may have been in the vicinity of
Brunswick Road and witnessed the incident," said DS Kevin Bowden of
Mold CID. "I'd like to hear from those people and urge them and
anyone else who has information to contact officers at Mold
CID."
