Further update on Prestatyn homicide


Another six people have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following an incident in Prestatyn, over the weekend, when local man, Jonathan Sillett, aged 43 years, died.


Five men, two 21 year olds, a 22 year old, a 23 year old and a 20 year old and one woman aged 19 yrs, all from the local area, are currently being questioned by police.


A 22 year old man and a 21 year old woman, from the local area, were arrested on suspicion of murder and were released on bail pending further inquiries last night (Monday July 23).


Detective Chief Inspector Graham Talbot said: “Inquiries are continuing into this suspicious death and we are still very keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and saw the incident. It is being treated as a homicide and the local community can rest assured that we are making progress with the investigation but need their help and support in this matter.


“I am now appealing for information from anyone who may know something about the incident to make contact with us asap.”
