Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was found with stab wounds outside a Wrexham cemetery.
Shortly before 4am on Saturday 7th June a man was found with serious injuries to his arms and body.
The 44-year-old had been sleeping rough in the cemetery on Ruabon Road when he was attacked by another man. He received stab wounds to his arms and shoulders before the offender ran across the cemetery grounds.
The 44-year-old then managed to run towards Ruabon Road where he flagged down a passing taxi, who then alerted police.
The victim was taken to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital and has since been transferred to the Countess of Chester Hospital to receive further treatment.
The offender is described as being over 5ft 8inches tall and aged in his mid to late 20’s. He had a full face and was wearing a brown and white striped hat. He was also wearing a dark coloured tracksuit top.
