Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were assaulted in Wrexham during the early hours of yesterday morning (Sunday 8th June).
At approx 02:15 two men were walking near to the cemetery on Ruabon Road towards Rhostyllen when they were approached by four youngsters who were walking in the opposite direction.
An altercation occurred and one of the men is believed to have been struck on the head with a stone.
An ambulance was called and the 25-year-old was taken to the Wrexham Maelor hospital with serious but not life threatening head injuries.
The other man, a 23 year-old received minor injuries.
A short time later police arrested three youngsters - a 16-year-old girl, and a 15 and 16-year-old boy.
All three were arrested on suspicion of wounding and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
