Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Wrexham yesterday (Tuesday 12th May).

At 07:13am police were informed that a robbery had occurred at the Booker Cash and Carry on Ruabon Road whereby two men had entered the premises and threatened two members of staff before running away with a minimal amount of cash.

Officers were immediately deployed to the area including the force helicopter and a search was carried out.

Police are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was out and about in the Foxwood Drive area around the time of the incident to contact Detectives at Wrexham.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have information, or to anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour in the area to contact DS 1823 Jones at Wrexham CID on 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line) 0845 607 1002 (English line) or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
