The group attended this evening and were provided with an overview of the functions of the Air Ops Unit and also were able to sit in the aircraft whilst learning the various roles that it performs.

Police Cadets are a great addition to the police family and although aimed at 17 - 18 year olds it provides an ensight into the police service and affords young people with information to make life decisions. It was a great visit by a great bunch of young people.

If you'd like to visit the Air Operations Unit please follow the link from the Air Ops page.
