West Conwy District Website & Forums
Croeso. I'm Andy Broadhead, the District Inspector for West Conwy. I joined the North Wales Police in 1988 having lived in North Wales my whole life. I have served in Flintshire, Denbighshire and Conwy in a variety of roles, including Roads Policing, Firearms, Air Operations and Community Policing.
I am a family man and my interests include playing the frustrating game of golf and supporting Manchester United.
I live locally and as a result I understand local issues as what may affect you probably affects me too.
I hope you find our website useful and that you will continue to return and contribute with your views, opinions and to learn what your the Neighbourhood Policing team are up to in YOUR community.
This site is made available to provide you with access to information about the community policing teams based at Llandudno, Conwy and Llanrwst. These teams work to improve the lives and experiences of persons living, working and visiting the three main towns and surrounding villages such as Deganwy, Llanfairfechan and Betws Y Coed.
We all want the public to have a greater say in how we police the community and this site will be used for sharing information and providing feedback to the community on actions taken, in other words "You Said" - "We Did".
Please take the time to sign up to the 'community forums' and get involved. Feel free to start a debate. As the forums develop and more people and organisations such as our working partners get involved; we will be able to take forward people's views so that they can influence the development of policing the West Conwy District.
Our site has a discussion forum in order for each of our Community Beat Managers to seek the views of their public and engage in useful dialogue. We hope that you will use this communication device to submit articles, discussion points or just make comments on your community or the policing of your area.
We want to offer you the very best service and want to work with you to make you feel safer and valued.
Please view the local initiatives and action plans. They will provide you with some insight into what your neighbourhood policing team is involved in and will keep you up to date with results.
Following the setting of this year’s priorities and objectives, new action plans will appear here soon and will provide you with information about what each community has asked us to tackle and make a priority.
We look forward to hearing from you.
