Prestatyn Officers "Lock up kids bikes"

On Wednesday 20th January Pc 2563 Ben Edwards and Pcso Rowley were investigating a theft of a mountain bike from Gronant Road, Prestatyn.  The bike belonged to a young male who was using the local POP IN centre, Meliden Road, and didn't own a bike lock.  To prevent further incidents the officers decided to try and assist the young man. They went to Halford Store Rhyl and purchased 5 bike locks to be used by the centre.

Halfords store also kindly donated a further three locks free of charge.  Below is a picture of the officers handing the locks over to the centre manager Jonathon White.  These locks will be kept at the centre for all people using the facilities to secure there bike and returned after use and will hopefully prevent a similar incident occurring again.
