North Wales Police

We are committed to protecting the lives of both adult and child victims of domestic abuse, to investigate all reports effectively, to bring offenders to justice and hold them accountable for their actions and to adopt a proactive multi-agency approach in order to prevent and reduce domestic abuse.

Pdficon Small Domestic Abuse Delivery Plan

Our main concerns are:

  • Protecting victims and any children to make sure they are not at continuing risk;
  • Investigating thoroughly to get evidence and, where evidence permits and circumstances allow, arresting and charging the offender;
  • Giving victims enough information to be able to access help, advice or services from other agencies straightaway or at a later time.

Domestic Abuse is a crime. As a victim, you have done nothing wrong - you are not to blame.

In an emergency, always dial: 999

For non-emergencies dial: 101 (in Wales) or 0845 6071002 (from outside Wales)

If you suspect that a friend, neighbour or relative may be a victim, and would like to report it anonymously, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or you can report a crime online to Crimestoppers here.
