Appeal following armed robbery in Rhyl

Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at the Co-Op Store on Ffordd Elan in Rhyl.
The robbery happened at around 10.25pm yesterday, Thursday 21st November, when a man entered the shop and threatened the staff with a weapon before making off on foot with a quantity of cash.
The man is described as being approximately 6 feet tall and of medium build. He was wearing a grey hoodie, dark trousers and a black face covering.
Officers are appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity of the store and saw a man acting suspiciously at the time, or who may have been driving past the location with a dashcam on board to contact police.
Detective Inspector Elfyn Hughes said: “This was an upsetting incident for those in the shop but thankfully no-one was injured. Our enquiries are ongoing and we are keen to hear from anyone who believes they have any information which may be relevant to the investigation.”
