Appeal for information following death of Jade Mitchell on Friday 19th of June 2020

Shortly after 6am on Friday the 19th of June 2020 ,the ambulance service and North Wales Police were called to reports of an unresponsive teenager at an address in Thomas Street Holyhead.

Regrettably despite the ambulance crew’s best efforts, Jade Mitchell, an 18 year old local woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ds Arwel Hughes said: ‘Following the tragic death of Jade, a police investigation was commenced. As such we are keen to trace Jade’s last known movements. I would be grateful if anyone who saw or communicated with Jade on Thursday the 18th of June 2020.or early into Friday morning the 19th of June 2020 could contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting incident number Y087325.

‘The coroner for North West Wales, Mr Dewi Pritchard Jones has been informed. Following enquiries, on Monday the 22nd of June, a local woman was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.

‘Our thoughts remain with Jade’s family and friends at this tragic time and we would ask that their privacy is respected.’
