Flintshire fatal collision appeal

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on the A548 Coast Road in Tan-Lan, near Holywell earlier today, Saturday 6th July, 2019 in which a man sadly died as a result of his injuries.

Sergeant Leigh Evans of the Roads Policing Unit, North Wales Police said; “At approximately 10.05 am this morning, North Wales Police and other emergency services responded to the scene of a road traffic collision involving a Nissan Qashqai, towing a caravan and a flatbed recovery vehicle.

"Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the  41 year old driver of the flatbed vehicle, who was local to the area, tragically died.

"An investigation is underway and I’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision or events leading up to it."
