Rhyl Knife Attack: Investigation Continues

Following an incident in Church Street, Rhyl in the early hours of Tuesday August 13th, three men were arrested.
Two of these men have been released pending further investigation. A third man has been released on police bail with strict conditions, one of which is that he cannot enter north Wales.
Superintendent Sian Beck said: “Our investigations are continuing, and I would like to reassure the public that we believe this to be an isolated incident.
“In the meantime, we continue to maintain a visible presence in the local area.
“I would encourage anyone with information that will assist us to contact police on 101 quoting reference X116491.”
The 43 year old local man who sustained injuries as a result of what is believed to have been a knife attack remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
