Three further arrests in Denbighshire

Three further arrests for the Denbighshire Coastal Policing Team.

Following the execution of a warrant in the Meliden area this morning, Wednesday 11th October, a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance with intent to supply. 

Intelligence led patrols in the Rhyl area this afternoon, then resulted in two further males being arrested. 

A 26-year-old man was arrested for possession of a bladed article and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, and a 17-year-old youth was arrested for possession with intent to supply a controlled drug.

A quantity of class A drugs has been seized and all three males remain in custody at this time.

District Inspector Alwyn Williams said: “These latest arrests show that we will continue to disrupt these offenders who are causing most harm in our communities.”

“In line with the forces’ Operation Scorpion, our goal is to target those involved in serious and organised crime.”
