Holyhead incident update

North Wales Police have this afternoon been granted a further 36 hours to question a  24-year-old man from the Holyhead area in connection with a murder enquiry.

At approximately 16.00hrs today (Friday 12 December) police officers were called to a disturbance at The Blossoms Pub, Rhos y Gaer Terrace, Holyhead, where a 24 year old man had reportedly carried out an assault on another man, aged 46.
